2001Academic accreditation of TCUM. The University is the first non-state institution and the 6th accredited university in Moldova
Inauguration of TCUM sports complex
TCUM Teaching and Consulting Centre was set up in Tiraspol

 

2002The 5th Session of the Rectors’ Council of Consumer Co-operatives Higher Education Institutions, CIS countries

 

2003TCUM was the first to launch nationally the idea of implementing

Quality Management Systems in the educational institutions of Moldova

Honorary title „Honorary Member of the Cooperative Academic Community” was instituted
TCUM Teaching and Consulting Centre was set up in Soroca

 

2004Intensive development of international partnerships

 

2005Academic accreditation of three more programmes
Implementation of Bologna Process principles: introduction of the two-cycle degree system (Bachelor/Master) in higher education and the National Credit System at the TCUM
The National Council for Accreditation and Attestation approves the Scientific Seminars in 5 doctoral programmes at TCUM

 

2006TCUM has obtained a new license for higher education activities: undergraduate, master and postgraduate (master) studies
TCUM has become member to the International Association of Commodity Experts and Technologists
Periodical publishing of TCUM Scientific Annals has started

 

2007Institutional academic re-accreditation and re-accreditation of 7 programmes
 TCUM Printing Unit was established

 

2008Academic accreditation of 2 more programmes
The first generation of cycle I graduates – Bachelor studies

Conducting multiple events in the context of 2012 UN International Year of Co-operatives

2014International accreditation of the Programme in Law (Bachelor studies) by ARACIS (Romania)
Re-accreditation of the university as an organization of science and innovation, internationally competitive, in the field „Economy and management of trade and consumer co-operatives development”
The scientific journal „Research on Trade, Management and Economic Development” (JRTMED) was established, its national accreditation took place

 

2015International accreditation of the Master’s Programme in Public Law by EKKA (Estonia)
Implementation of the institutional applied research project „Development of internal trade and consumer co-operatives in the context of the economic integration of the Republic of Moldova in the European Community space”, obtained in the result of national contest
Creation and authorization of the Doctoral School „Economy and Management of Trade and Consumer Co-operatives Development”
